Insurance
- We accept most insurance plans, including Medi-Cal.
- Even if you have a primary care doctor, you can come to Women's Health Specialists for your reproductive and sexual health services, and your visit will be covered by your insurance. You don't need a referral.
- Your insurance plan may cover the entire cost of your visit, with no co-pay.

No-Cost Services
- If you have insurance, it pays for your birth control, annual exams, STI testing and many more services in entirety.
- People aged 12+ can come for services, with or without a guardian.
Sign Up For Medi-Cal
- Medi-Cal is no-cost health insurance, paid for by the state of California.
- If you have Medi-Cal, you do not need your doctor's referral to come to WHS.
- Pregnant residents of California automatically qualify for Medi-Cal, free health care coverage.

Confidentiality
- Regardless of if you do or do not have insurance, you can request confidentiality - only you will know about your appointment.
- You can request confidentiality directly through your insurance, if you are insured.
Sliding Scale
If you don't have insurance, or don't qualify for free services, we have sliding scale option. The affordable fee is based on your income.
Youth (12+) Rights
We welcome youth of all genders and sexual identities.
Youth, ages 12+, have the right to
- Safely and confidentially visit any of our clinics for sexual health care.
- Even if you are on your guardian or parents' insurance plan, you can sign up for Family PACT to get free and confidential care. Birth control, STI testing, pregnancy tests are free and private.
- Youth have the right to decide about sex, pregnancy, birth control, STI testing, STI treatment, abortion, birth, parenting and adoption, without pressure from guardians, adults or peers.
We support youth rights.

We have a programs that offer free services to qualifying clients.
FAMILY PACT CARD
Family Pact
Different from Medi-Cal, Family PACT is a program through the state of California. We enroll you at the clinic, and you receive services the same day. Even if you have health insurance through your parents, partner, or work, you can get confidential and free care through Family PACT.
To qualify for free services through Family PACT, you must be:
- Any gender
- Of reproductive age
- Are not sterilized
- Are a California resident - You do not need to be a US Citizen.
- Age 12 and older
- Have low income
Every Woman Counts
Every Woman Counts pays for breast and cervical health screenings for women aged 40+. We enroll you in the program. Call us at 1.800.714.8151.
To qualify for free breast screenings:
- are 40 years old or older
- have low income
- have no or limited insurance
- are not getting these services through Medi-Cal or another government-sponsored program
- live in California
To qualify for free cervical health screenings:
- are 21 years old or older
- have low income
- have no or limited insurance
- are not getting these services through Medi-Cal or another government-sponsored program
- live in California
