Author Rebecca Chalker has written about genital cosmetic surgery

Rebecca Chalker’s article, “The ‘Perfect’ Porn Vulva: More Women Demanding Cosmetic Genital Surgery” was recently published in August. It is available to read on AlterNet, and exposes the increase in cosmetic genital surgeries among women, the financial incentives of physicians and women’s mystification about their bodies.
