SYRCL’s (South Yuba River Citizens League) 23rd annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival will occur February 13-23, 2025. Once again, the festival will put together another incredible selection of films to change your world. Each year, Wild & Scenic draws top filmmakers, celebrities, leading activists, social innovators, and well-known world adventurers to the historic downtown areas of Nevada City and Grass Valley, California.
Considered one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals, this year’s films combine stellar filmmaking, beautiful cinematography, and first-rate storytelling to inform, inspire and ignite solutions and possibilities to restore the earth and human communities while creating a positive future for the next generation. Festival-goers can expect award-winning films about nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, agriculture, etc.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is proud to work with many outstanding organizations devoted to protecting the earth and its inhabitants and creating sustainability for all. Large and small hometown groups and ones with an international scope can be found here! SYRCL hosts the annual EnviroFair to let these critical organizations showcase their work and inform us how we can engage in meaningful ways.
