Women’s Health Specialists of Chico is looking for a reliable, quick learning, and pro-choice individual to be a Full Time phone counselor.

Ideal candidates are able to listen and support individuals so that they may freely talk about their health, contraception, pregnancy, or abortion and have prior experience interacting with insurance companies in verifying client's insurance and eligibility. Other spoken languages a plus.

We give individuals the tools to evaluate their authentic health care needs – not based on a societal myth, but on the client’s reality and experience. We assist individuals so that they can learn that their bodies and life stages are normal. Our goal is to empower our clients through support, education, self-help, and services to be able to make the best health care decisions for themselves.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $16.50 per hour, DOE

COVID-19 considerations:
WHS has incorporated telemedicine to see clients remotely from the safety of their homes. We encourage social distancing and encourage face coverings with procedures in place. We are constantly sanitizing and cleaning to help diminish the spread of COVID-19.
