Sterilization
Sterilization
Sterilization is considered a permanent birth control solution. It is a highly effective method of birth control.
To block the release of eggs, a doctor will cauterize Fallopian tubes, preventing the eggs' travel through the Fallopian tubes and into the uterus.
A vasectomy cauterizes the vas deferens, the tubes through which sperm travel, preventing the release of sperm.
Though sterilization can be reversed, it is not always successfully reversed.
